Diana Reumer
Trainer at CITYPILATES
How did you get into Pilates?
My passion for dance began in childhood with ballet and jazz lessons. Later, I discovered yoga and practiced it with great enthusiasm. When I attended my first Pilates class, I was surprised by how challenging it was—yet, it felt so good. Pilates quickly became my passion and the perfect complement to yoga, offering the best "mix" for a balanced body and a great physical feeling.
What do you like about Pilates?
For me, Pilates combines everything: it strengthens the body, enhances flexibility, and promotes better body awareness. It provides the ideal balance between strength and mobility while creating a sense of inner harmony.
Why did you become a Pilates trainer?
I worked in the marketing and communications industry for over 20 years. My “fire” for movement and doing something meaningful has grown stronger over the years. In the summer of 2024, I took the bold step of turning my secondary vocation as a Pilates instructor into my main vocation. I am incredibly grateful for this and don't regret a second of it. The opportunity to inspire people through my classes motivates me anew every time. It fulfills me to help participants achieve their goals and develop a better body image.
